I was born on August 28th in East London, England. I left
school to start work as an Electricians Apprentice however after qualifying I did not like the work. I started working as a Driving Instructor and that is where ACTING started for me. I met a Lady who owned an Agency for Extras who asked me if I could help as someone had canceled out. I went along to the Studios as a back ground Artist and was asked to do a few lines. WOW, and this on my first ever day! The TV show was CLAY HANGER about the Potteries in Victorian Times. I did the job and thought that this is easier than a Driving Instructor, so I took myself off to a Drama School in Essex and stayed there for about 6 months. I left the Drama School and started to watch the Main Actors in their performances and actually learned more by watching. All this was way back in the early 1970s . I got a good |
Agent (Aleen Hatchard) who contacted me and asked me if I would like to appear in a low budget film, of course I accepted. This film was STAR WARS "A New Hope" as the Medal of YAVIN Bearer. I had a costume fitting and about two weeks later started work on the Film. As you all know by now this is THE MOST ICONIC FILM EVER. Since then I have also starred on Dr WHO with three Doctors and four eps :- The Leisure Hive with Tom Baker - Black Orchid and Terminus with Peter Davidson and The Mark of Rani with Colin Baker. I also worked on
East Enders for three years on and off as The Milk Man. Additionally I have worked on BLAKES 7 in two eps - one is called The Animals, and the other is called Head Hunter and James Bond 007, The Spy Who Loved Me. Nowadays I organize the Romford Essex England Convention and appear at Conventions all over the World. |
